{"id":6052,"date":"2024-01-12T18:16:38","date_gmt":"2024-01-12T21:16:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=6052"},"modified":"2024-01-15T11:35:09","modified_gmt":"2024-01-15T14:35:09","slug":"man-wanted-on-province-wide-warrant-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/01\/12\/man-wanted-on-province-wide-warrant-2\/","title":{"rendered":"UPDATE: Man Wanted on Province Wide Warrant, Arrested."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>UPDATE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daniel Michaud,\u00a031, who was wanted out of Middle Sackville on a province-wide arrest warrant has been arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michaud was held in custody and is appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RCMP would like to thank members of the public for their shares on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Original Post:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halifax District RCMP has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a man wanted in relation to an assault that occurred on January\u00a010,\u00a02024, in Middle Sackville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daniel Michaud,&nbsp;31, from Oakfield, has been charged with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assault<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assault Causing Bodily Harm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Michaud is described as&nbsp;5-foot-10,&nbsp;175&nbsp;lbs. He has green eyes and blond hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/2024-01-12_wanted_michaud_daniel.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6053\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Investigators believe that Michaud is driving a&nbsp;2008&nbsp;dark navy-blue GMC Sierra with a black\/grey hood. The vehicle is missing the front grill and may not have a licence plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police have made several attempts to locate Michaud, however are requesting assistance from the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone who sees Daniel Michaud is asked to refrain from approaching him and to call police.
