{"id":6064,"date":"2024-01-13T19:33:09","date_gmt":"2024-01-13T22:33:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=6064"},"modified":"2024-01-13T19:33:52","modified_gmt":"2024-01-13T22:33:52","slug":"fatal-collision-on-highway-104","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/01\/13\/fatal-collision-on-highway-104\/","title":{"rendered":"Fatal Collision on Highway\u00a0104 in New Glasgow."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On January&nbsp;12, at approximately&nbsp;5:40&nbsp;p.m., Pictou County District RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a report of a collision on Hwy.&nbsp;104&nbsp;in New Glasgow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon arrival at the scene, RCMP officers learned that a Honda CRV was travelling eastbound on the highway when it struck a deer, and was then hit from behind by a transport truck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver and lone occupant of the CRV, a&nbsp;42-year-old woman from New Glasgow, was transported to hospital by ambulance.
