{"id":6070,"date":"2024-01-14T18:28:43","date_gmt":"2024-01-14T21:28:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=6070"},"modified":"2024-01-14T18:28:44","modified_gmt":"2024-01-14T21:28:44","slug":"police-investigating-suspicious-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/01\/14\/police-investigating-suspicious-fire\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Investigating Suspicious Fire."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This morning, at approximately&nbsp;1:30&nbsp;a.m., Meteghan RCMP and fire services responded to an active structure fire at a property near the&nbsp;3600&nbsp;block of Route&nbsp;1&nbsp;in St. Bernard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon arrival at the scene, officers found an unoccupied residence fully engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this time, from the information and evidence gathered at the scene, RCMP officers believe the fire is suspicious in nature and have opened an arson investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation, led by the Meteghan RCMP with assistance from the Yarmouth\/Clare Street Crime Enforcement Unit, is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Meteghan RCMP at\u00a0902-645-2326.
