{"id":6147,"date":"2024-01-20T09:48:12","date_gmt":"2024-01-20T12:48:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=6147"},"modified":"2024-01-20T09:49:11","modified_gmt":"2024-01-20T12:49:11","slug":"man-charged-with-drug-and-firearms-offences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/01\/20\/man-charged-with-drug-and-firearms-offences\/","title":{"rendered":"Man Charged With Drug and Firearms Offences."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On January&nbsp;17, at approximately&nbsp;11:40&nbsp;a.m., the Special Enforcement Section of the RCMP\/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, assisted by the RCMP Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant at a home on Tache St., and on a vehicle located in a parking lot on Dispensing Way, in relation to an ongoing drugs and weapons investigation that began in November of&nbsp;2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside of the residence, police safely arrested a&nbsp;50-year-old Lower Sackville man. During the arrest, officers seized&nbsp;10&nbsp;grams of cocaine pre-packaged for distribution and&nbsp;20&nbsp;hydromorphone pills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A search of the property then resulted in the seizure of scales, over&nbsp;$4,000&nbsp;cash, more than&nbsp;30&nbsp;grams of cocaine, and in excess of&nbsp;500&nbsp;hydromorphone pills. In addition, officers located eight handguns and a loaded shotgun, all registered to the man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the search of the man&#8217;s vehicle, officers located an additional&nbsp;12&nbsp;grams of cocaine pre-packaged for distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terry Michel Danny Cousineau,&nbsp;50, has been charged with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine and Hydromorphone) for the Purpose of Trafficking (two counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of Property Obtained by Crime<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Careless Use of a Firearm (eight counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Careless Storage of a Firearm (eight counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transfer of a Firearm Without Authority (two counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Failure to Report Losing a Firearm (two count)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Cousineau appeared in court, on January&nbsp;17, and was remanded into custody.
