The 68-year-old man who was reported missing yesterday from Ingonish Beach has been found safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RCMP thanks Nova Scotians for assisting with missing persons files through social media shares and offering tips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victoria County District RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating\u00a068-year-old Cecil Dunphy, who was reported missing February\u00a06\u00a0in Ingonish Beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dunphy is described as 5-feet, approximately 155 lbs. He’s bald and has hazel eyes. Dunphy is known to wear plaid shirts, blue or red in color, or a safety jacket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators believe Dunphy may be driving a black 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing the Nova Scotia licence plate FYW946.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those who know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
