A man and a woman entered the store and the woman produced what it believed to be a handgun while the man went behind the counter and removed cigarettes and cash. The suspects fled the area on foot. The employee was not physically injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last night, officers arrested one of the suspects at a residence in Halifax. Mykayla Smith, 19, is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face charges of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Carrying a concealed weapon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disguise with intent&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Robbery with a firearm (x2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Failure to comply with condition of release order (x3)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Investigators continue to look for the second suspect who is described a white man in his 20s, approximately 5\u20197\u2019 tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black sweater, a black puffy vest, brown Nike shoes, and carrying a black backpack at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to call police at 902-490-5016.
