{"id":6615,"date":"2024-03-25T16:50:44","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T19:50:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=6615"},"modified":"2024-03-25T16:50:45","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T19:50:45","slug":"two-people-facing-serious-charges-after-police-search-of-stellarton-residence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/03\/25\/two-people-facing-serious-charges-after-police-search-of-stellarton-residence\/","title":{"rendered":"Two People Facing Serious Charges After Police Search of Stellarton Residence."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) has charged two people with drug and weapon offences after a search warrant at a home in Stellarton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On March 20, 2024, the PCISCEU, with assistance from the Stellarton Police Service, Westville Police Service, Pictou District RCMP General Investigative Section and RCMP Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a home on St. Bernard St.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the home, police safely arrested a woman then located and seized methamphetamine, hydromorphone, prescribed medications, baggies, cellular phones, forged documents, unlicensed spirits, firearms and ammunitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A short time prior to the search, a man was safely arrested during a targeted traffic stop.
