{"id":6732,"date":"2024-04-05T16:42:44","date_gmt":"2024-04-05T19:42:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=6732"},"modified":"2024-04-05T16:42:45","modified_gmt":"2024-04-05T19:42:45","slug":"arrest-made-in-shooting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/04\/05\/arrest-made-in-shooting\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrest Made in Shooting."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Antigonish County District RCMP has charged a man after a\u00a0shooting in Aulds Cove that left one man injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April&nbsp;4, Antigonish County District RCMP, with the assistance of the Antigonish-Guysborough Street Crime Enforcement Unit, and the RCMP Police Dog Services, arrested&nbsp;24-year-old Samuel Taylor from Port Hastings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taylor has been charged with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attempt to Commit Murder;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aggravated Assault;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Careless Use of Firearm;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pointing a Firearm;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unauthorized Possession of Firearm;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Taylor appeared in Antigonish Provincial Court today and was remanded in custody.
