{"id":7139,"date":"2024-05-17T13:51:53","date_gmt":"2024-05-17T16:51:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=7139"},"modified":"2024-05-18T07:19:05","modified_gmt":"2024-05-18T10:19:05","slug":"harassment-charges-laid-against-youth-support-worker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/05\/17\/harassment-charges-laid-against-youth-support-worker\/","title":{"rendered":"Charges Laid Against Youth Support Worker."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Halifax Regional Police has charged a man with criminal harassment in relation to an incident that occurred in Halifax earlier this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On May 14 police received a report that the victim had received a number of harassing text messages of a sexual nature from an unknown phone number.&nbsp; Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that the suspect was a youth support worker at a community-based organization in Halifax. Investigators believe that the suspect inappropriately obtained the victim\u2019s contact information from the organization\u2019s system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On May 15, officers arrested the suspect, a 51-year-old man, in Halifax.
