{"id":7322,"date":"2024-06-04T09:46:07","date_gmt":"2024-06-04T12:46:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=7322"},"modified":"2024-06-04T09:46:09","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T12:46:09","slug":"man-facing-serious-charges-after-traffic-stop-at-the-cobequid-pass","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/06\/04\/man-facing-serious-charges-after-traffic-stop-at-the-cobequid-pass\/","title":{"rendered":"Man Facing Serious Charges After Traffic Stop at The Cobequid Pass."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment&#8217;s Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) has charged a man in relation to drugs seized in Colchester County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On May&nbsp;31, SCEU, with assistance from Colchester County District RCMP, completed a targeted roadside stop on a rental vehicle travelling on Hwy.&nbsp;104&nbsp;near the Cobequid Pass toll plaza&nbsp;in relation to an ongoing drug investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the traffic stop, RCMP officers safely arrested the sole occupant, a&nbsp;25-year-old Halifax man, and then located and seized four kilograms of cocaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That same day, RCMP officers, with assistance from Halifax Regional Police, executed a search warrant at a home linked to the man.
