{"id":7343,"date":"2024-06-06T09:34:21","date_gmt":"2024-06-06T12:34:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=7343"},"modified":"2024-06-06T09:34:23","modified_gmt":"2024-06-06T12:34:23","slug":"youth-and-adult-facing-multiple-serious-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/06\/06\/youth-and-adult-facing-multiple-serious-charges\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth and Adult Facing Multiple Serious Charges."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shelburne RCMP has charged a man with multiple offences following an investigation into a report of a firearms complaint in Jordan Branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On June&nbsp;2,&nbsp;2024, at approximately&nbsp;8:15&nbsp;p.m., Shelburne RCMP Detachment responded to a report that a person had pointed a firearm at a man outside a residence in Jordan Branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had confronted two people who were in a vehicle at the end of his driveway. During the confrontation, one of the people in the vehicle pointed a firearm, described as a handgun, then fled in the vehicle. No shots were fired and no one was injured in the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officers began searching for the suspect vehicle, but immediate efforts to locate the vehicle and suspect were not successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On June&nbsp;3, at approximately&nbsp;3:15&nbsp;p.m., a member of the Shelburne County Street Crime Enforcement Unit observed the suspect in a vehicle parked off Exit&nbsp;25, Hwy.&nbsp;103&nbsp;in Jordan Falls. The vehicle was then observed entering Hwy.&nbsp;103. Shelburne RCMP initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and safely arrested the two occupants.
