RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is seeking information on the whereabouts of a man currently wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brandon Crawford Grant, 26, from West Petpeswick, is presently wanted for Being at Large Without Excuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grant is described as\u00a06-foot-4,\u00a0300\u00a0lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June\u00a019, at approximately\u00a09:30\u00a0p.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report of a man in distress at a home in the\u00a0100\u00a0block of West Petpeswick Rd. RCMP officers learned the man had damaged the home with an axe and ran into the woods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators have identified the man as Brandon Grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This morning RCMP officers, with the assistance of the RCMP Emergency Response Team, remain in the area in an attempt to locate and safely arrest Grant who may be armed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital and The Birches are currently on lock down and Eastern Shore District High School is on hold and secure as a precaution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The public can expect to see a heavy police presence in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone who observes Brandon Grant or has information on his whereabouts is asked not to approach him and to call\u00a09-1-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
