{"id":7571,"date":"2024-06-25T11:35:31","date_gmt":"2024-06-25T14:35:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=7571"},"modified":"2024-06-25T11:35:32","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T14:35:32","slug":"nslc-sales-increased-while-earnings-decreased","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/06\/25\/nslc-sales-increased-while-earnings-decreased\/","title":{"rendered":"NSLC, Sales Increased While Earnings Decreased."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) released its year-end financial results today, June 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the fiscal year April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, total sales were up 1.6 per cent to $874.5 million, with an increase in both beverage alcohol and cannabis sales compared with the previous fiscal year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beverage alcohol sales increased 0.5 per cent to $753.4 million, and cannabis sales increased 8.9 per cent to $121.0 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earnings decreased 0.3 per cent to $238.8 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sales of Nova Scotia products increased 7.4 per cent to $133.9 million.
