RCMP officers learned that a Honda Civic was travelling east on the road when it left the roadway and collided with a tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver and lone occupant, a&nbsp;37-year-old Halifax man, suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS LifeFlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prospect Rd. was closed several hours but have since reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source : RCMP Release <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is investigating a serious single-vehicle crash that occurred in Hatchet Lake.
