Lunenburg District RCMP is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in First South.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On July 21, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Lunenburg District RCMP, fire, and EHS, responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Hwy. 332.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
RCMP officers learned that a Harley-Davidson trike motorcycle had been travelling west on the highway when it left the road and entered the ditch. Both the driver and passenger were ejected from the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The passenger, a 78-year-old woman from Lunenburg, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver, a 76-year-old Lunenburg man, was transported by EHS to the South Shore Regional Hospital and later flown by EHS LifeFlight to the QEII Health Sciences Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hwy. 332 was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.

Second Crash:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lunenburg District RCMP is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Deans Corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On July 21, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Lunenburg District RCMP, fire, and EHS, responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Hwy. 3. RCMP officers learned that a Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling south on the highway when it left the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver and sole occupant of the motorcycle, a 23-year-old Lunenburg man, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the crash; the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hwy. 3 was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.
