A\u00a0five-month-old and\u00a0two six-week-old\u00a0kittens\u00a0sustained minor injuries and\u00a0are now safe in the care of the Nova Scotia SPCA.<br><br>Animal Protection Inspectors are actively investigating and are asking anyone who has information about the cats including their ownership, or persons seen in the area with cats over the weekend of Friday, August 9 through the morning of Monday, August 12, to call 1-888-703-7722 or email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:animals@spcans.ca\">animals@spcans.ca<\/a>.<br><br>&#8220;This kind of abuse is unacceptable,\u201d says Nova Scotia SPCA Deputy Chief Inspector Kevin Strooband.\u00a0<br><br>The Nova Scotia SPCA is here to help.
