{"id":8421,"date":"2024-08-20T12:25:52","date_gmt":"2024-08-20T15:25:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=8421"},"modified":"2024-08-20T15:58:30","modified_gmt":"2024-08-20T18:58:30","slug":"nslc-releases-first-quarter-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/08\/20\/nslc-releases-first-quarter-results\/","title":{"rendered":"NSLC Releases First-Quarter Results."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) released its first-quarter financial results today, August 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total sales from April 1 to June 30, 2024, were up 1.5 per cent to $222.5 million, with an increase in both beverage alcohol and cannabis sales compared with the same time last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beverage alcohol sales increased 0.7 per cent to $191.3 million, and cannabis sales increased 7.3 per cent to $31.2 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earnings decreased 0.5 per cent to $70.4 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sales of Nova Scotia alcohol products increased by 5.4 per cent to $24.7 million. Locally produced ready-to-drink products lead the beverage alcohol category with an 11.2 per cent increase to $9.8 million.
