{"id":8496,"date":"2024-08-23T18:22:01","date_gmt":"2024-08-23T21:22:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=8496"},"modified":"2024-08-23T18:22:04","modified_gmt":"2024-08-23T21:22:04","slug":"weekly-traffic-advisories-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/08\/23\/weekly-traffic-advisories-14\/","title":{"rendered":"Weekly Traffic Advisories."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>NEW WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Georges River Bridge, Georges River<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Georges River Bridge on Long Island Road will be closed for repairs from Monday, August 26, to Friday, September 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A detour will be in place via Route 223 \/ Scotch Lake Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>PICTOU COUNTY: Rockfield Road, Rockfield<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rockfield Road from civic numbers 365 to 424 will be closed for culvert replacement starting Monday, August 26, at 6 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work is expected to continue until 6 p.m. on Friday, August 30. A detour is in place via Route 376, Durham Road and Millsville Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Motorists are advised to follow the signed detour and use caution when travelling near the construction zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CONTINUING WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Highway 104<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highway 104 from the Exit 38 eastbound off-ramp to 300 metres west of the Trunk 4 underpass is reduced to one lane for paving until Saturday, August 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work takes place weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Traffic control is on-site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Kenwood Drive, Sydney River<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kenwood Drive from Oceanview Drive to Kings Road will be closed for construction of a roundabout until Saturday, September 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A detour is in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>COLCHESTER COUNTY: Donaldson Bridge, French River<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donaldson Bridge on Lake Road, about three kilometres west of Tatamagouche, is closed until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The detours are Trout Brook Road and Cooper Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>COLCHESTER COUNTY: Old Truro Road, Tatamagouche<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Old Truro Road from the Kennedy Hill intersection to Cross Road in North River is closed until further notice because of a large culvert failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A detour is in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>COLCHESTER COUNTY: Slade Road, Tatamagouche<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Slade Road is closed between Lake Road and West Tatamagouche Road until further notice because of a bridge closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Route 366<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A section of Route 366 is closed because of a culvert failure. Only local traffic is allowed from East Amherst to Port Howe. A detour is available via Trunk 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work continues until Monday, September 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102, Bedford \/ Lower Sackville<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exit 4C on Highway 102 will be closed today, August 23, starting at 6 p.m. until Monday, August 26, at 6 a.m. for construction of the Highway 107-Highway 102 interchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through traffic from Glendale Avenue to Duke Street will not be allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A detour with signs will be in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 111 (Windsor Street Exchange), Halifax<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Construction on the structure over Mackintosh Street will continue until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic control is on-site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>HANTS COUNTY: Halfway River Bridge, Hantsport<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Halfway River Bridge on Trunk 1 is closed for repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A detour is in place. Repairs are expected to be complete by late October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>HANTS COUNTY: Hydes Bridge, Lantz<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hydes Bridge on Highway 277 is closed for asphalt removal and repaving until Friday, August 30, at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A detour is in place via Trunk 2, Route 214 (Elmsdale Road) and Old Trunk Road. Signs are in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>INVERNESS COUNTY: Highway 105, Glendale to River Denys<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The section of Highway 105 from Exit 2 to Exit 3 is reduced to one lane for paving until Saturday, August 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>PICTOU COUNTY: Route 348, Sunnybrae<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Route 348 from the Pictou\u2013Guysborough county line northerly for seven kilometres is reduced to one lane for paving until Friday, August 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work takes place weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Traffic control is on-site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>RICHMOND COUNTY: Port Royal Bridge, Isle Madame<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Port Royal Bridge on Port Royal Road is closed until further notice. A detour is in place on MacEachern Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>RICHMOND COUNTY: St. Peters Fourchu Road, Saint Esprit<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St. Peters Fourchu Road will have alternating lane closures for repaving until Monday, September 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset. Weekend work is expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>SHELBURNE COUNTY: Highway 103, Jordan Falls<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highway 103 from Exit 24 easterly for about 7.9 kilometres will have alternating lane closures for paving until Friday, August 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset. Traffic control is on-site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>SHELBURNE COUNTY: Highway 103, Sable River<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highway 103 from the Sable River Bridge easterly for about six kilometres will have alternating lane closures for repairs until Saturday, August 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset.
