{"id":9060,"date":"2024-10-04T12:30:33","date_gmt":"2024-10-04T15:30:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=9060"},"modified":"2024-10-04T12:30:36","modified_gmt":"2024-10-04T15:30:36","slug":"weekly-traffic-advisories-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/10\/04\/weekly-traffic-advisories-20\/","title":{"rendered":"Weekly Traffic Advisories."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>CONTINUING WORK<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Kenwood Drive, Sydney River<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kenwood Drive from Oceanview Drive to Kings Road is closed for construction of a roundabout until Saturday, November 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A detour is in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Sluice Bridge, East Bay<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sluice Bridge on Chapel Road is closed for repairs until Friday, October 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A detour is in place via Route 216\/Trunk 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>COLCHESTER COUNTY: Donaldson Bridge, French River<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Donaldson Bridge on Lake Road, about three kilometres west of Tatamagouche, is closed until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The detours are Trout Brook Road and Cooper Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>COLCHESTER COUNTY: Salmon River Bridge, Truro<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The northbound side of the Salmon River Bridge on Highway 102, between exits 14 and 14A, is reduced to one lane for bridge work. The northbound right lane will be closed 24 hours a day. The expected completion date is Thursday, October 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic control is on-site, and signs are posted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>COLCHESTER COUNTY: Slade Road, Tatamagouche<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Slade Road is closed between Lake Road and West Tatamagouche Road until further notice because of a bridge closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Route 366<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A section of Route 366 is closed because of a culvert failure. Only local traffic is allowed from East Amherst to Port Howe. A detour is available via Trunk 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work continues until Thursday, October 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102, Bedford \/ Lower Sackville<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highway 102 near Exit 4C has regular lane closures and construction in both directions until further notice, for construction of the Highway 107-Highway 102 interchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work takes place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the northbound lanes and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the southbound lanes. Traffic control is on-site. Both lanes will be open in the evening and overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Motorists should expect delays and should use alternative routes when possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 111 (Windsor Street Exchange), Halifax<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Construction on the structure over Mackintosh Street will continue until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic control is on-site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>HANTS COUNTY: Halfway River Bridge, Hantsport<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Halfway River Bridge on Trunk 1 is closed for repairs until Thursday, October 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A detour is in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>INVERNESS COUNTY: Beaton Road, Hawthorne<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beaton Road, five kilometres from Trunk 19, is reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, October 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>INVERNESS COUNTY: Roseburn Road, Whycocomagh<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roseburn Road, 5.2 kilometres from Whycocomagh-Port Hood Road, is reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, October 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>INVERNESS COUNTY: Rough Brook Bridge, Queensville<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rough Brook Bridge on Highway 105, about 2.2 kilometres north of Blue Ridge Road, is reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, October 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19, Harbourview<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trunk 19 from the Captain Gillis Bridge northerly for 250 metres is reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, October 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>INVERNESS COUNTY: Walker Cove Road, Walker Cove<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walker Cove Road, 1.2 kilometres from Trunk 19, is reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, October 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>RICHMOND COUNTY: Port Royal Bridge, Isle Madame<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Port Royal Bridge on Port Royal Road is closed until further notice.
