Police investigate robbery<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth yesterday<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On October 23, at approximately 1:20 p.m., officers responded to a robbery in progress at the Irving gas station, located at 220 Victoria Road. A man entered the store, threatened the cashier with a metal, wrench-like tool and demanded money. The man went behind the counter, accessed the drawers and fled the area on foot with a quantity of cigars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The man is described as a white man, approximately 5\u2019 10\u201d tall. At the time of the incident, his face was covered with a medical mask and he was wearing a royal blue sweater with the hood up, a black winter puffy jacket, grey or beige shorts and red sneakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
