RCMP officers learned that a Hyundai Kona was stopped in a construction zone then struck a worker holding a traffic sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The worker, a 63-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver of the Kona, an 82-year-old Hacketts Cove woman, did not suffer physical injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: RCMP Release <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is investigating a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Hammonds Plains.
