Man Arrested Following Search of Residence.

On March 30th at approximately 2:00 pm, the Truro Police Service responded to a firearms complaint on Dominon St.

Patrol officers arrived within minutes of the call and secured the area, arresting a 36 year old male at the scene preventing any threat to the public.

A search warrant was obtained for the accused’s residence and 4 firearms were seized. The male was held in custody and is facing numerous firearms related charges.

His next court appearance is April 24th in Provincial Court.
