RCMP Warn of Fake Currency Circulating In The Area.

September 27, 2024 nnpress

Pictou County District RCMP is warning residents and business owners about fake currency circulating in the area. Although the bills may initially look and feel somewhat real, Canada is misspelled and they’re labelled as film props.

Please be sure to check all currency you receive, especially larger bills, and report counterfeit notes to your local RCMP detachment, 1-800-803-7267, or local police.
