Police Investigate Robbery in New Glasgow.
New Glasgow Regional Police seeking information about a robbery in New Glasgow
New Glasgow Regional Police is seeking information in relation to a robbery that occurred on Riverside Parkway in New Glasgow.
On June 1st, 2025, at approximately 10:50 a.m., New Glasgow Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery on Riverside Parkway involving a family and a group of persons in a motor vehicle.
New Glasgow Regional Police investigators report that a van was driving southbound on Riverside Parkway, while a family was also on Riverside Parkway walking northbound on the sidewalk. While the male driver of the vehicle stopped to ask for directions, a female passenger in the rear seat suddenly grabbed the victim’s necklace, ripped it from her neck, and fled the scene.
Through the course of the investigation, police obtained surveillance images of the vehicle involved in the incident. The New Glasgow Regional Police are now releasing these photos to the public in hopes of gathering information that may help identify the individual(s) or the vehicle or provide any additional details that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
The vehicle is described as newer model Silver Toyota Sienna.


The male driver is described as heavy set, long dark beard with a left forearm tattoo.
The female behind the front passenger is described as older possibly in her early 60’s with dark and grey hair.
A third person, a front passenger is described as a younger male with light brown hair.
