New Glasgow Regional Police Investigating Sudden Death.

New Glasgow Regional Police is investigating a sudden death that occurred in New Glasgow yesterday.

At approximately 9:00 p.m. on March 15, 2026, police, along with the New Glasgow Fire Department and Emergency Health Services, responded to a report of a deceased person located in a public space near a building complex on Glasgow Street.

The deceased has been identified as an adult woman.

The investigation is ongoing in collaboration with the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service. At this time, the death does not appear to be suspicious.

There is no risk to public safety.
