New Glasgow Police Seize Drugs and Remove Children During Well Being Check.

New Glasgow Police seize fentanyl and Psilocybin.

Monday April 27, 2026 at 2:55 p.m., New Glasgow Police Major Crime Unit assisted Child and Family Well-being Services with a well-being check at a residence on Dalcrombie Drive, New Glasgow.

During the well-being check, officers observed drug paraphernalia and seized the following.

59.5 grams of Fentanyl.
5 grams of Psilocybin (Street Name-Magic Mushrooms).

The fentanyl has an approximate street value of $15000.
Children were present at the time of the well-being check and were safely removed.

New Glasgow Police continue to investigate.
