Police Investigate Serious Incident Resulting in Injury.

New Glasgow Regional Police seeking information following a stabbing in the Clyde Street area, New Glasgow.

New Glasgow Regional Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the Clyde Street area of New Glasgow.

On August 23, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., New Glasgow Regional Police responded to a report of an altercation involving four to five youths in the Clyde Street area of New Glasgow. Upon investigation, New Glasgow Regional Police located a man who had been stabbed.

The 28-year-old was transported to Aberdeen Hospital and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Police believe that the incident was isolated and continue to investigate.
The New Glasgow Regional Police is looking to identify person(s) responsible or who may have witnessed the event.
